I love these higher resolution photos because there are so many details to unpack. Where to begin?

Let’s start with their facial expressions. These kids really look happy and proud and I’d assume they had every reason to be. I’d bet their glee club was the best in town.

Take a look at the young lady, second row (standing on the first step) and dead center. The joy on her face is everything.

Last, but not least, check the young lady peeking at her classmates out the window. I don’t blame her for peeking at them then, because here we are admiring them 70+ years later.
